Who we are

“How can people in your country be so excited about the second coming of Christ when there are millions in my country who have never heard that He came the first time?”

With this challenge from a south Indian pastor, VFA began its ministry in India in early 1976. Since then many have been trained and lead their own ministries in unreached areas.  From India VFA´s vision has expanded to 12 countries in South Asia.

VFA is focussed on the unreached.  The “10/40 Window” – a geographical area between the 10th and 40th latitudes – contains most of the world´s unreached people groups.  Worldwide there are over 17,000  people groups, of which approximately 7000 remain unreached, according to Joshua Project statistics.  An „unreached people“ has been defined as a people among whom there is no indigenous community of believing Christians with adequate numbers and resources to evangelize this people group.

VISION FOR ASIA
is incorporated in the USA and in Germany as  nonprofit, tax exempt organizations and all contributions to VFA are tax deductable.  In Germany VFA is a member of the “Association of Pentecostal and Charismatic Missions”.  (APCM- Arbeitsgemeinschaft Pfingstlich- Charismatischer Missionen  e. V.)
